Know Your Label Adhesives
Below is a guide to the different adhesives we offer in our range of standard labels, along with the suitable operating temperatures & environments for each.
Permanent Vinyl
Suitable for a wide range of surface materials, including high energy plastics, aluminium, ceramics and smooth metallic casing. Exhibits an excellent mechanical resistance and flexibility. Very high initial tack and final adhesion with a minimum application temperature of +5°C and a temperature range of -30°C to +120°C.
Permanent Polyester
Particularly suitable for use when durability is paramount, including good adhesion to rough as well as smooth substrates. High initial tack and very high final adhesion with a minimum application temperature of +0°C and a temperature range of -20°C to +70°C.
Peelable Vinyl
Exhibits good clarity, easy and clean removability from glass, laminated plastics and cross linked enamels. Also has excellent performance on glass and plasticware in the laboratory environment. Low initial tack and final adhesion with a minimum application temperature of +5°C and a temperature range of -30°C to +120°C.
Ultradestructable Vinyl
All round security label/adhesion for tracking and asset identification, product/warranty and anti-tamper requirements. Excellent adhesion on a wide range of substrates with high durability to solvents, UV and ageing. Very high initial tack and final adhesion with a minimum application temperature of +10°C and a temperature range of -50°C to +110°C.
Polyester with Void Evident Adhesive
Security adhesive to highlight attempt's at tampering with product. Excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates. Attempted removal ruptures adhesive to reveal 'void' message. High initial tack and very high final adhesion with a minimum application temperature of +5°C and temperature range of -40°C to +150°C.
